That is so awesome! I'm glad to hear that T worked out so well for you. ^_^
As for Plume, I would definitely recommend it if you can't get a proper referral or if you don't have insurance, provided that you can pay for the membership to receive those services. Thankfully they take my insurance, so I was able to get a big discount on my membership price for Plume. They saw me pretty soon after I signed up with them and they were very professional when it comes to listening to me and helping to figure out the exact formulation of T and the dosage I should be on. My provider sent my prescription to the pharmacy, and when the pharmacy was giving me a little bit of a hard time with regards to having it in stock and needing prior authorization, Plume helped me a lot! They quickly transferred the prescription to a different pharmacy at my request and they also submitted a prior authorization request to my insurance. Pretty quickly, the authorization was approved and instead of having to pay an arm and a leg for the T, I only had to pay $5 for it where before I was looking at paying closer to $55 for it.
Again, would absolutely recommend Plume! But if you're going through a free program, maybe just stay with that since it's free. :)
EDIT: Also yes, I am pursuing top surgery. I'd have it done ASAP if I could, but I have to finish school first. By late 2024 at the earliest, I should be able to get it done. I just need to wait for open enrollment period to happen again for health insurance so I can switch to a plan that the only local top surgeon in my area will accept. Otherwise, I'm paying out of pocket which is not gonna happen.
