These are excellent paths to look into more, honestly. I love looking into Kabbalah topics from time to time, and Sufism is something I could probably look more into, though I haven't done so very much before.
My mind continues to turn its wheels, though, as I keep thinking about all of this stuff. I was raised with religious beliefs, and that was something I feel that really shaped me and yet... maybe there really is more to everything than what I was taught growing up. My mom probably meant well, even beneath using religion as a means of control, but still... I think that God can't be confined to any one religion or experience, honestly, and that's if there even is a God. I like to think that there is one, because it would explain some unexplainable things to me and brings me some comfort... but I also like listening to the arguments that atheists make sometimes too.
This balancing act sure does require a lot of thinking. It can be really bothersome, but sometimes it can be really interesting too. I think I like it that way, as frustrating as it can sometimes be.
